1. How much of a course am I required to attend during the semester?
At our university, students are required to attend at least 80% of theoretical classes and 70% of practical classes. For example, if a course has 100 hours in a semester, you must attend at least 80 hours. Students who do not meet this requirement fail due to absenteeism and receive an “F3” on their grade report. Students failing a course due to absenteeism cannot take the make-up or single-course exam, but they can take the course during the summer school.
2. Can a student who fails due to absenteeism take the make-up exam?
No.
3. Can a student who fails due to absenteeism take the final exam?
No.
4. Can a student who fails due to absenteeism attend the summer school for this course?
Yes.
5. Are excused absences (e.g., medical reports) counted as absenteeism?
Yes. Excused periods are considered absenteeism, meaning the student is regarded as not fulfilling the attendance requirement during those periods.
